The RFID chip (tag) with an attached antenna is embedded within the inner rubber layer of the tire. When the reader emits radio waves, the tag’s antenna receives the energy from the waves, activating the chip. The tag then wirelessly transmits the stored information to the reader, which stores the received data on a computer or cloud server.
